My client is looking to recruit a Mechanical Engineer to join their successful and highly motivated team.

Applicants must be:

* An experienced Tool Maker

* Able to pipe pneumatic circuits

* Experienced in the building of Special Purpose Machines

Excellent communication skills are a must, along with strong analytical skills and an innovative approach to problem solving. Some electrical circuit knowledge/PLC skills are important, and candidates must possess good team working skills, along with an excellent grasp of engineering concepts and principles. Driving license and own transport is essential.

The role will involve manufacturing and developing new special purpose machinery. Reporting to the Tool Room Manager, the successful candidate will be required to read from manufacturing drawings and be able to use a wide range of machinery to produce piece parts used in the build of the equipment. The role will also involve building special purpose machines and completing specific phases of the project, such as constructing pneumatic circuits.
